THE Saturday lunchtime music series returns to the Courtyard next month, after a winter break.

First up is the Rod Kelly Trio featuring pianist/vocalist Rod, along with his regular team on drum and bass, on February 5.

Then, on February 12, the Pete Barnard band returns, well-known for their jazzy, bluesy, funky style.

It's another welcome return on February 19 for the Erika Lyons trio, which features superb double-bass player Erika and John Gibbon (drums) and Brian Waite (piano) with some top-notch cool jazz.

The month rounds off with the legendary Blake's III on February 26 featuring Martin Blake (guitar/vocals), Mick Freeman (clarinet/saxes/flute/vocals) and Rob Strawson (fiddle and vocals). Their eclectic mix of folk, blues, swing and jazz has never failed to delight.

Sessions run from noon to 2pm and admission is free.
