A MASS of top musicians have raised more than £3,000 for the tsunami disaster appeal through two charity concerts held in the city last weekend.
The city's Marr's Bar, in Pierpoint Street kicked off the charity fund-raiser with an all-day extravaganza featuring bands such as Pete's Sake, Push Me Under, Chequered Footprints, Nuthin' Yet and The Fallout Theory. The event raised £1,120.
Drummonds Bar, New Street, staged another clutch of performers including Medford, The Lightness, The Badgers, Come Together, Woody & The Stuntcocks, The Reflections, Fingers and The Disciples, raising more than £2,000.
