CELEBRITY gardener Alan Titchmarsh has confirmed he will be at this year's Malvern Spring Gardening Show, which runs from May 13 to 15.
Mr Titchmarsh, famous for appearing in BBC programmes Ground Force, Gardeners World and British Isles: A Natural History, will be at the show's new Garden Design Theatre on Friday, May 13.
Show visitors are invited to send in questions for An Audience with Alan in advance. He will be answering some of the best ones and taking questions from the floor on the day.
He will also be judging a name the rose competition, organised to raise funds for St Richard's Hospice.
Other guest stars from the world of gardening visiting the event include Chris Beardshaw, Joe Swift and James Alexander Sinclair. Organisers, the Three Counties Agricultural Society and Royal Horticultural Society, hope the celebrity appearances will continue to boost numbers at the event.
Show press officer Sharon Gilbert said Mr Titchmarsh had proved extremely popular with visitors to last year's event.
"Celebrity guests are proving to be an instant hit with gardening show visitors and the ticket hotline is always inundated with callers inquiring about them," she said.
Anyone with a question for Mr Titchmarsh to answer at the show should write to Nina Acton, marketing manager, Spring Gardening Show, Malvern, Worcs, WR13 6NW.
