THE faultless superstar DJs are back with another block rockin' beat after three years in the dance wilderness.
Despite the hits of Star Guitar and It Began In Afrika on their last work Come With Us, the album could be classed as a below-par performance from chemical beat masters Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands.
Their previous work of Surrender achieved the dizzy heights of huge popular acclaim with hits like Hey Girl, Hey Boy and Out Of Control, so it must have been back to the drawing board for the brothers this time around.
You can't go too far with Push The Button without mentioning war. You only have to look at a few track names to notice.
And when you listen it only confirms those thoughts - whether it's good or bad, it's certainly contemporary.
The Chemicals again utilise their contacts list and keep up to date with the use of vocalists.
This time, Q-Tip and Anwar have helped out in the studio while The Charlatans drummer Jon Brookes can be heard on Hold Tight London.
Is it another classic from the brothers? Only time will tell but one thing is true - it's more than dance music, it's dance music with soul.
