Poor old Luke Potashnick - the Rooster guitarist just can't get a look in!
While there can be no doubting the excellent vocal capacity of frontman Nick Atkinson, the band's debut album would have been so much better had he given his right-hand man a little more freedom.
Because while each track is an accomplished chunk of rock, the 12-track package tends to grind on to a similar tune just waiting for Potashnick to let rip.
He has his moments - but they are limited to an intro here and few bars there.
Singles Come Get Some and Staring at the Sun are including on the album while Angels Calling has a sound just waiting for chart stardom.
The band is set to be huge, boasting a style that brings the likes of Aerosmith and Free together in one foursome.
But while this debut is certainly worth a listen there could well be a better album waiting to come from Rooster - just give the guitarist a chance!
