LOVE will be in the air at a number of Valentine events in and around Malvern.
From classical music to food and poetry, organisers promise there will be something for every romantic.
In Colwall, the Bransford Singers and Players will stage The Love Anthology, an evening of song, poetry and drama.
Organiser Sue Oliver said: "Some pieces are fun, some are serious, some are risqu, but they're all to do with love."
The event is at 7pm on Satur-day, February 12, at Colwall Village Hall. Tickets are £5 from John Goodwin estate agents on 01684 540300.
The same evening in Mathon, the parish hall committee has organised a romantic dinner dance to raise funds for the refurbishment of the venue.
Ticket holders will enjoy a bucks fizz reception, followed by three-course dinner. They can then dance the night away to The Rod Kelly Band, which promises to play something for everyone.
Committee member Margaret Ainscough said they would spend two days decorating the hall in preparation for the event.
"We're trying to make it look quite romantic and sophisticated so that people really feel they're going for a special night out," she said.
Mrs Ainscough said the committee needed to raise as much as possible for the refurbishment.
"This event will be a major push towards it," she said.
Tickets are £15 from 01886 880824.
Also on February 12, the ESO perform a Valentine concert with violinist Matthew Trussler. He will play Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto Op.66 and Mozart's Symphony No 40 K550 under conductor Douglas Bostock.
The concert is at 7.30pm at the Forum, Malvern Theatres. Tickets are from £8 to £26 from 01684 560696.
On February 14, Malvern Youth Centre will host a Valentine disco for young people aged between 13 and 19 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Entry is £3.
In Leigh and Bransford on February 19, the Scout group is holding a Valentine dance at the memorial hall at 7.30pm. Local band Reload will perform hits from the 60s to the present. Tickets are £5 from 01905 425793. Proceeds to the Scouts.
