BAND Low are appearing at the Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton on Saturday, February 19.
Winners of Pop CD of the Week in the Sunday Times on January 16 this year, Low have just re-invented themselves.
The band has turned away from its long-established mellow folk influenced soulful meanderings to produce an album of pop songs on the notoriously grunge/noise champion label SubPop.
Mimi Parker plays drums and sings, Zak Sally plays bass and Alan Sparhawk plays guitar and sings.
Meanwhile band Biffy Clyro are returning to the live arena this year and will be playing at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall on Sunday, February 20.
The tour will come just after the band's new single Only One Word Comes To Mind is released by Beggars Banquet on Monday, February 13.
Taken from Infinity Land, one of Kerrang's albums of 2004, the single is backed with two new Biffy Clyro compositions, and the DVD features the striking video for the title track, directed by Paul Williams.
