A NEW musical work will be staged at Kidderminster Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, March 4 and 5.
Seven Rides for Severn Lovers will be performed by school choirs from the around the district from 7pm.
It will celebrate the history and heritage of the Severn valley and its famous railway.
Organisers have called it a 'folk-opera' and say it includes songs and choral pieces in many different styles and is a marvellous addition to the repertoire of music for young choirs.
The musical has been composed by Geoffrey Cummings-Knight and will be conducted by Geoffrey Weaver.
For tickets, which will cost £5, call 01562 601112.
