AN exhibition about Herefordshire wildlife at Leominster Library sees the results of a wide range of wildlife surveys undertaken by hundreds of volunteers.
You can walk inside the BioPod - made by pupils at Haywood School to a design from Herefordshire College of Art and Design, test yourself on the songs of 12 garden birds and look at specimens of the nationally rare Noble Chafer beetle, as well as photographs of a huge range of special plants and animals.
The final exhibition of work from the Community Biodiversity Project of Herefordshire Nature Trust, 90% financed by the Heritage Lottery Fund, shows how everyone can make a difference for wildlife.
"More people, from more walks of life, have made a direct contribution to wildlife information requirements over the past two-and-a-half years as a result of this project than any other wildlife-related initiative ever undertaken in Herefordshire," said project worker Ross Andrew.
"Sadly, Herefordshire Nature Trust has not been able to find the funding to continue this important work, but completed wildlife record cards will be welcomed at the Trust until the end of the year."
Admission is free and the exhibition ends on February 26.
