AGEING rockers Colosseum are dusting off their instruments for a performance at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall next month.
The band, pictured left and right, was originally formed in 1968 by drummer Jon Hiseman and were instantly signed by Hiseman, who released the band's debut Those Who Are About To Die Salute You.
It became the first of four album chart successes for the band, who toured all over Europe and were acknowledged as one of the most exciting and original acts on the live circuit.
Former R'n'B chart-topping singer Chris Farlowe became the missing piece in the jigsaw, joining the band after Hiseman raised concerns the group was lacking a powerful vocalist.
The band's performance at Huntingdon Hall features Hiseman on drums, Dave Greenslade on keyboards, Chris Farlowe on vocals, Dave 'Clem' Clempson on guitar and vocals and Mark Clarke on bass and vocals.
The concert takes place on Tuesday, March 1 at 8pm.
Tickets are £17.50, available from the box office on 01905 611427.
