MUSIC from three continents, two choirs and a soloist will all feature in a concert at Link Top next weekend.
The After St David concert at Holy Trinity Church on March 5 - so called because it falls after St David's Day - includes performances from Malvern Male Voice Choir, Holy Trinity Junior Choir and 21-year-old Malvern-born soprano Sonna Cadman.
Organiser Charles Pavey, who has conducted the male voice choir since September and plays piano for the junior choir, said African, European and North American music would be performed at the event.
Mr Pavey said the concert would serve two purposes.
"The male voice choir always performs a St David's Day concert of some sort and Holy Trinity needs to raise funds," he explained
Money from ticket sales will boosting church funds, recently depleted by the purchase of a new boiler.
The male voice choir will perform music including Beethoven's Ode to Joy, American spirituals, Welsh choral music and a piece called African Triology - a mixture of songs from South Africa.
The junior choir will sing a selection of tunes they perform regularly in church including Yes My Lord, Everybody Shout, Simple Gifts and Aardvarks on the Ark.
Solos by Sonna Cadman will include Whistle Down the Wind, I've Never Been in Love Before, Il Puccini and Hushabye Mountain.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, available on the door, are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children and students. Refreshments are included.
