TUNES from the likes of Travis, Paul Weller, The Kinks, Reef and Britney Spears are set for an airing in Worcester tonight as lively cover band Medford play a city gig at Worcester's Marr's Bar.
The band consist of Richard Webb, on vocals, Scott Baldwin, on lead guitar and backing vocals, Mike Butt on bass, Miles Dandy on drums and keyboardist Chris Mahon and have built up a following over the past few months.
Meanwhile four-piece Scandinavian band Messenger will be providing support.
The group has spent the last few years perfecting their art on the stages of Norway, Sweden, the UK and Russia.
Twenty-nine year old Ole Christian, lead singer, bassist and songwriter, comes from a musical family and has earned his living as a professional musician for the last 15 years.
The group's debut album is scheduled for release early in 2005 and the band will be touring extensively to promote this around the UK.
Doors open for tonight's gig at 8pm and tickets are £3 and £5.
