ONE of America's outstanding folk singer songwriters, Kreg Viesselman, is appearing live at CARAD on Saturday.
"Heart wrenching, warm, poignant - yet laced with acrid wit" is how his effortless style has been described.
His husky road-worn voice and country blues steeped guitar echoing the long-gone tradition of the rambling singer-songwriter.
His wanderlust has taken him from the small Mid- West town where he was born and placed him beside some of the most intriguing characters in America.
Supporting Kreg in concert will be some of Rhayader's outstanding young musicians including James Cox, The Hostages and Harry Harris.
Kreg is also holding a songwriting workshop the same day between 1.45-4.15pm at the venue in East Street, Rhayader.
Book for both the workshop or concert on 01597 810583.
