GARDENING CLUB: The March meeting was held on Thursday at 7.30pm at Wulstan Hall.
The chairwoman, Jean Norcott, welcomed everyone and presented the winning trophy for the inter-club quiz to members of the victorious team.
She welcomed Mike Upward who came, at short notice, to talk about Searching for Alpines.
The competition of a photo of a garden you have visited was won by Daphne Glover, Pat Shakespeare was second and third was Ann Sheppard.
The next meeting on April 28 at 7.30pm at Wulstan Hall will take the form of a social evening with a talk by Nicholas Clark about Corsica.
WOOD CHIP AND LOG SALE: Worcestershire Wildlife Trust will hold its final sale of the season in Tiddesley Wood of wood chips and logs on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm. Good discounts for quantity sales. Entrance to the wood is from the north end off Besford Road, Pershore. Proceeds will go towards the nature conservation work of the Trust.
