TEXTILE artist Angie Hughes and illustrator Jeanette McCulloch have joined forces to create Artplace, a new art space for Ledbury that opens to the public this weekend.
Located in a recently renovated 19th century building just off the High Street, Artplace has facilities for teaching drawing, painting, textile and craft - all areas in which the two are experienced.
The space will also be available for practising artists to rent and for short courses.
"We were delighted to find this building, which had the potential to be redeveloped for our purposes, in the heart of Ledbury," said Angie.
"We have links to Artistree, the local community art gallery, the Ledbury Poetry Festival and Herefordshire Art Week."

Artplace will open its doors this Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
