THERE'S never been a more irreverent representation of The Bard's works than that produced by the Reduced Shakespeare Company.
On at the Swan Theatre in Worcester all this week, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) is an hilarious, fast moving, manic rush through 37 plays in 97 minutes by three amazing American performers.
Peter Brooke, Tim Dale and Ryan Ellsworth send up the tragedies, the comedies, the histories and sonnets to such an extent that the audience is left helpless with laughter. The zany trio's energy, pace and impeccable timing all adds up to a gloriously funny evening's entertainment, with full audience participation.
