A "RIOTOUS" theatre version of a cult 1960s radio show arrives at Malvern's Festival Theatre from Monday as part of a UK tour.
Round the Horne...revisited has been adapted from the original scripts by Brian Cooke and features the very best of the original sketches and characters on stage.
The radio show, first broadcast in 1965, attracted an audience of 15 million at its peak before its final airing in 1969. A spokesman said: "Straight man Kenneth Horne was at the helm of the mad-cap bunch - Kenneth Williams, Hugh Paddick, Betty Marsden and Douglas Smith.
"They mercilessly sent up the establishment acting out the sketches and the show was politically incorrect, rude and above all, very, very funny."
It runs from Monday until Saturday, April 23. Tickets, £14-£22 are available from the box office on 01684 892277 or at
