WHO doesn't love a good show tune? Spirit of Broadway has collated some of the most popular songs from the world's principal musicals and wrapped them in one non-stop glitzy package.

An international cast delivers energetic performances from a list that would delight any musical aficionado. An audible gasp of audience appreciation showed that the Abba medley from Mamma Mia was one particular favourite. An equally appreciative hush for Memory, a Cats' classic, showed that even without the razzle-dazzle of bright lights and sparkling costumes, this production was hitting the right notes.

Bob Fosse's unmistakable choreography received a welcome resurrection in the two trips back to the 20s for Chicago. It was hard to resist the equally renowned, although stylistically irreconcilable, choreography of The Rocky Horror Show's Time Warp.

Perhaps understandably Les Miserables and Cabaret collected the most nods of the evening, although this is a show subject to constant change. Notably missing from this performance but present in the programme were numbers from Oklahoma. Nobody could be disappointed though - with more than 30 songs from 20 shows, it's certainly extravagant.
