YOU could probably count on one hand the amount of films that sees the car as the main star. Incredibly, this is one of them.

But even the high-octane action movies like The Fast and The Furious and Gone in Sixty Seconds have made some kind of effort in seeing the actors actually act. Instead, Taxi puts in its place an unbelievable amount of not so funny one-liners.

Clumsy New York cop Andy Washburn (Jimmy Fallon) hails down bike courier turned taxi driver Belle Williams (Queen Latifah) in a bid to foil a bank robbery.

When the attempt goes badly wrong, seeing Washburn get the boot and Williams' pride and joy impounded, the pair decide to team up and are soon hot on the heels of the sexiest bank robbers ever seen. But will they catch the four Brazilian bikini-clad babes?

The wafer thin plot is only made more obvious by the poor acting by singer Latifah and stand-up comic Fallon. The only saving grace was the very rare scenes with supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

When all else fails why not end the story with some saucy lesbian scenes?

The DVD includes the hilarious reel comedy (outtakes) as well as a music montage with the "beautiful criminals".
