A GLOUCESTERSHIRE artist is joining in the Cheltenham Jazz Festival from next week, displaying some of his portraits of the legends to mark the event's tenth anniversary.

Keith Baugh, from Newnham-on-Severn, said his passion for jazz started when he first saw Miles Davis play the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival - "a history lesson in jazz" - and he has continued following the music and meeting its top stars.

His paintings will be on show at The Pillar Room and the Buffet Room at Cheltenham Town Hall from April 27 until May 2.
