CHAMPAGNE and risqu live acts are set to transform Birmingham Hippodrome theatre into a darkly lit cabaret venue with hoofers and starlets performing at your table.
On arrival you will be ushered by waiters to your table, where you can order champagne, collect your 'Duckie Dollars' and choose from a menu of live contemporary acts from balloon-modelling to ventriloquism and from the transgressive to the downright offensive.
The result is an evening of adult fun that will certainly have the cabaret audience rolling with laughter or whooping with surprise.
The event, called C'est Birmingham!, is being brought to Birmingham Hippodrome by Duckie - a collective of nightclub runners and anti-theatre performance pedlars.
Their distinctive style of performance has gained them sell-out London runs, a tour to the Sydney Opera House as part of the famous Mardi Gras in 2004, an Olivier and a Time Out Award.
C'est Birmingham! will be on at the theatre from Friday, May 20 until Monday, May 30, and it's for strictly over 18s only.
A table for eight costs £120 or single seats costs £15. To book call 0870 730 1234.
