THERE will be a "Whole Lotta Love" in Worcester tonight as renowned Led Zeppelin tribute band Fred Zeppelin crash into the city for a gig.

The covers group has been playing together for more than 11 years and have built up a considerable following of fans of the original band, as well as the thumbs-up from the rockers themselves.

Led Zeppelin were famous for their trademark bluesy rock and roll tunes including Whole Lotta Love, Rock and Roll, Ramble On, Dazed and Confused and Kashmir.

And Fred Zeppelin - which formed over their love of the rock and roll act which stormed America and remain one of the most successful British acts in the USA - has played sell-out gigs the last few times they have been to Worcester.

Led Zeppelin front-man Robert Plant - who Fred Zeppelin frontman Steven Gale bears a passing resemblance to - has also turned up to three of their concerts, while Led Zeppelin's drummer John Bonham's son, Jason, has also jammed with them on stage.

Now the band, members of which juggle daytime jobs with a gig or two a week and have been voted one of the top 10 best live bands to see in a Kerrang! readers' poll, are returning to rock at the Marr's Bar in Worcester tonight.
