A COLLECTION of snuff boxes, ivories, semi-precious stones and medals will be on display at Bewdley Museum from Sunday, as part of the national Museums and Galleries Month.
The Objects of Desire exhibition is one of a host events lined up in the coming weeks and consists of items bequeathed to the museum in 1933 by former Bewdley resident, Mr Weston.
It will be on display until Tuesday, May 31.
A group of travelling musicians dressed in Elizabethan attire and playing authentic instruments from the period are also set to perform at the museum, on Monday.
Their performance of Elizabethan recitals, from 11am until 4pm, will be followed a week later - on Monday, May 9 - by the erection of a Rural Icons exhibition, consisting of digital photographs by Worcestershire artist, Shaun Parrin.
Newly-appointed museum development office, Ruth Finney, said the exhibition, called New For Old, would consist of a series of photographs of the countryside "with colours that would create unusual images and changes to the eye".
It will be on display until Sunday, June 5.
More information on any of the events, which are all free to enter, can be obtained by calling the museum on 01299 403303.
