A Ludlow gallery is hosting 80s 'man of the moment' artist Edward Bell in a new exhibition. The Stunning Moment, an exhibition of Shropshire landscapes and atmospheric interiors is being held at Ludlow's contemporary art gallery, Arterie, until May 31.

It will also be available for viewing online at www.arterie.co.uk/stunningmoment

Edward Bell first shot to fame in the 1980s for his glamorous portraits of pop stars and socialites. He designed album covers for the likes of David Bowie and Hazel O'Connor and produced portraits of stars such as Elton John and Kim Wilde.

Since then, his fresh and individual approach has allowed him to develop a plethora of styles. He has sculpted bronze horses, created wood reliefs and worked with every type of painting and drawing from pop art to picturesque impressions. Edward now splits his time between Shropshire and Western Ireland.
