MOZART lovers are in for a treat this Saturday, as Ludlow Concert Society performs an evening devoted to his work in St Laurence's Church, Ludlow.
Patrick Larley conducts the choir, which will be joined by soloists Julie Thomas (soprano), Margaret Davis (alto), Stephen Newlove (tenor) and Geoff Thomas (bass).
The highlight is Mozart's Requiem, while other choral works include the popular Ave Verum Corpus and the hauntingly beautiful Laudate Dominum from his Solemn Vespers.
The singers will be accompanied on the organ by Mark Jones, who will also play Mozart's Organ Fantasia and Fugue in F minor.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from The Wool Shop (01584 872988) and TIC (01584 875053).
