CARDIFF-based theatre company Earthfall visits Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog on Monday with its technically ambitious production, At Swim Two Boys.
Inspired by Jamie O'Neill's award-winning novel about the deep friendship between two teenage boys, the production is set against the backdrop of the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland and war in mainland Europe.
The stage is set with a free-flowing cascade of water falling on to the stage as two young men, in kilts, swimming trunks and fully clothed, wrestle their way through the deepening pool of water in love, despair and discovery.
Incorporating archive film footage, live music, dance and text, At Swim Two Boys is a fantastic opportunity to catch one of the most innovative dance and physical companies working in Britain today.
