OL' blue eyes and friends bring the glamour of the Fifties to Malvern Theatres audiences this month in The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas.

The show features the classic hits of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies Junior and Dean Martin with actors Henry Prego, Alonzo Saunders and Nigel Casey playing the musical legends.

I've Got You Under my Skin, That's Amore, Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime, New York, New York and My Way are just some of the well-loved tunes the show features.

Playing a musical idol is both an honour and a challenge according to Nigel Casey (Dean Martin).

He said other musical theatre work has involved playing characters but Dean was different.

"Everybody knows what he sounds like and looks like. I've got to get his particular quirks- that's what audiences are waiting for," he said. Wearing a wig helps him look like the singer and he studied DVDs and listened to CDs to acquire as many 'Deanisms' as possible.

The show is set in Las Vegas nightclub The Sands and Nigel and the other cast members aim to take audiences back in time.

"We not only sing songs but try to get across the relationship and friendship between the three guys," he said.

Dancers and a 15-piece orchestra should help transport audiences back to an era where celebrities rubbed shoulders with politicians and partied hard.

The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas is at Malvern Theatres from Monday to Saturday, June 20 to 25. Tickets are £19.50 to £27.50 on 01684 892277.
