THREE years after the hugely successful heist they pulled off in Ocean's Eleven, the lads are all back and with a few extra Hollywood biggies thrown in for good measure.
Their mission? To pay back the money they managed to nick off Vegas lord Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) in the original film.
What wimps!
Having only recently watched this film's predecessor and thoroughly enjoyed it, I watched Ocean's Twelve with bated breath. My breath, sadly, stayed bated.
Viewing would not have been so bad if the actors had appeared to be enjoying themselves, the main performances being completely stilted.
Apart from George Clooney, playing Danny Ocean, whose ability to somehow slime his way through a scene without actually acting well is a sight to behold.
The only relief in this tiresome film comes from a couple of cameo roles, including Bruce Willis playing himself.
To anyone who enjoyed the original, I strongly recommend you give this a wide berth as you will only be left with the same sinking feeling you felt after giving Speed 2 a chance.
It just goes to show a stunning cast list, beautiful scenery and a great plot premise does not a good film make.
