THE sound of music will fill a Bewdley church when tuneful members of Wyre Forest Young Voices perform their summer concert.
The event will consist of songs from the shows and world music and will take place on Saturday, July 2, at St Anne's Church.
The selection of music, which will be performed under the title, Severn Serenade, will include solos and duets.
The choir, whose members are aged between 11 and 19, is the youth branch of Kidderminster Choral Society and directed by Geoffrey Weaver.
Since it formed in 1997, it has presented a number of successful concerts and toured Krakow and Zakopane in Poland last October. Plans are now being made for a tour of Estonia next year.
The group's co-ordinator, Chris Catanach, has invited anyone wishing to join the choir to attend a rehearsal.
They take place on Thursdays at 5pm at Baxter Church Hall in Kidderminster.
Tickets for the Severn Serenade, which starts at 7pm, are available from Kidderminster Library Council Shop and Bewdley Books in Load Street, Bewdley.
They can also be obtained by calling Bob Powell on 01562 60112.
