SCHOOLCHILDREN will be given a taste of orchestral life this month when the English String Orchestra perform Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
The educational event tomorrow afternoon will be followed by a concert - which is part of Kidderminster Choral Society's Music Festival 2005 - at Kidderminster Town Hall.
The Malvern-based professional orchestra will play a programme including works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Samuel Barber, Gustav Holst, William Walton and Frank Bridge under the direction of musical director, William Boughton.
The concert, called Pastoral Strings, starts at 7.30pm and includes a talk about the programme by choral society musical director, Geoffrey Weaver, from 6.30pm.
Tickets for the event are available from Kidderminster Town Hall, Kidderminster Library Council Shop, Bewdley Books or on the door on the night. They can also be obtained by calling Bob Powell on 01562 60112.
