FAMILIES will be able to enjoy a fascinating free day at Forge Mill Museum as part of National Archaeology Day on Sunday, July 17.
Anyone who fancies digging up their own bit of the past can take part in an archaeology task which will involve excavating, sorting and recording findings.
People will also be able to try their hands at archery with expert instruction from the Bowmen of England.
