INTEREST AND LEISURE CLUB: Members have expressed their condolences to the families of two valued members of the club who died recently, June Coxhill and Blanche Swift.

The latest outing was to the Forest of Dean steam and diesel railways. The steam train line was from Norchard low level to just beyond Lydney town to St Mary's Halt, going through cool green forest glades. After returning to Norchard Station from the high level there it was possible to board a diesel train to Whitecroft with Parkend beyond.

Mr Dudley Smith thanked Angela and Alan for making possible such an interesting day.
