MACBETH in the grounds of Eastnor Castle will provide a summertime treat for Shakespeare lovers next month.
The Lord Chamberlain's Men, an all-male cast named after Shakespeare's own troupe, will perform the tragedy with period costume, music, dance and stage fighting, all in the picturesque setting of the castle's terraces.
Visitors can take a picnic. There is a matinee at 1.30pm (gates open at 12.30pm) and a 7.30pm performance (gates open 6.30pm). Tickets are £10 each. Call 0870 8704151.
