ANYONE who dreams of a brush in their hand and time to paint some of the beautiful countryside around us can treat themselves to a local painting course.
Samantha Dadd is an artist based at Conderton, near Tewkesbury, and as well as exhibiting her own work for sale at her home studio, she runs classes for painters of all kinds.
Workshops take place at her studio and four have been lined up over the summer time.
On July 10 and 11, Cotswold Lavender Fields will be the subject for artists to get their teeth into and the same inspiration will provide the subject for the next session on July 17.
On August 14, English Roses, a particular passion of Samantha's, will give students the chance to capture roses in watercolour and then, inspired by the local sunflower crops, Fields of Sunflowers will be painted on September 11 and 12.
She welcomes beginners or experienced painters and classes are kept small enough for Samantha to spend time with each artist. Teaching will include demonstrations and one-to-one guidance and the 11am-5pm days cost £49, including materials and drinks.
