I READ with horror the article regarding the proposed closure of the hospital wards in Evesham.

For a town that is growing at an enormous rate it is essential that these wards are left open.

Many many people are without transport of their own and would find it impossible to visit their families and loves ones in Kidderminster should the occasion arise. I know of people who are caused a lot of worry and stress when they, or their families are transferred to Worcester Hospital, and have to cope with lack of transport. It is about time that Evesham was put on the map, and we had a hospital in keeping with the ever growing population.
