Budding local artists can showcase their work at an exhibition in Great Malvern town centre.

Fearnside's art shop, on Belle Vue Terrace, is holding an exhibition throughout July, to promote local talent.

Exhibition organiser John Edwards said: "We've moved all the art materials down to the ground floor, so the upper floor is free.

"We thought it would be nice to hold an exhibition. We handed out leaflets to all our customers, inviting them to exhibit."

Exhibiting artists can attend an open evening on Friday, July 1, at 7.30pm.

Space is still available to exhibit and work must be delivered to the shop by Wednesday, June 29. Artwork can be viewed during shop opening hours, 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Ten per cent of proceeds from any work sold goes to Malvern Community Hospital.
