TWO original comedy one-act plays will be performed by Redditch Amateur Theatre Society (RATS) in For One Night Only, at St Luke's Memorial Hall, Headless Cross, on Saturday from 7.30pm, with a ploughman's supper served in between.
Both plays are written by Droitwich-based JS Flanagan. Road Rage is about a group of protestors who do not want a new road, led by Mrs Reed-Bunnting who likes to think she is part of the local gentry, a role played by Lyn Baker.
Set in Russia, Uncle Grumble, stars Simon Baker as a father trying to marry off daughter Tania, played by Liz Richardson, to a poet, portrayed by John Perrins.
Lyn Baker commented: "Both plays are very funny and it should be a good night.
"Although they can pay on the door, we would ask audiences to pre-book so we know how much food to have on the night."
Tickets are priced £7 and can be reserved on 521086.
