A TALENTED schoolgirl from Bromsgrove is starring in a top theatre production in Birmingham.
Chloe Daplyn, from Malvern Road, is appearing as Princess Ying Yiawlak in the King and I at the Alexandra Theatre.
The eleven-year-old actress who has recently been involved in filming of an episode of Casualty will be performing until the production ends on Saturday July 2. She performed the same role at the Royal Centre in Nottingham in May.
Chloe has been attending the Stagecoach Theatre School, Parkside Middle School, on Sunday afternoons for over four years and is a pupil of St Bede's Catholic Middle School, in Redditch.
Her mum Cora Daplyn said: "We are very proud of her, she has worked really hard. Chloe is very talented and has wanted to do it from a very early age.
"She is doing brilliantly and I really hope she continues to act as she grows up."
