GALANTHUS gallery at Wormbridge will be filled with blooms for its Summer Show I from Saturday.

Five artists all inspired by flowers - painters Daniel Crawshaw, Christopher Holloway and Luke Myntowt-Czyz, photographer Sabina Ruber and ceramicist Kim Norton - will show work alongside a range of sculpture in the garden.

The inaugural Galanthus Sculpture in the Garden exhibition includes over 30 pieces of outdoor art and furniture in a variety of styles and media.

Work includes contemporary pieces by renowned sculptor Antonia Spowers, Miranda Michels' stainless steel leaping fish and animals, dramatic forged metal pieces by Ian Berrill and Jenny Pickford, clay figures by Peter Colquitt, Simon Cooley's music-inspired stone and steel sculptures, carved stone by David England and Philip Hearsey's seats and benches.

The sculpture show runs through the summer until early September.

The interior show will run to August 6. For details check www.galanthusgallery.com or call 01981 570506.
