CLUBBING and dance music fans will be coming together this summer for a weekend of pure hedonism at this year's Global Gathering.

The event has attracted record-breaking sell-out crowds for the past year and for the first time this year it will take place over a whole weekend.

The festival runs from Friday, July 29, to Saturday, July 30, at Long Marston airfield in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, and features a whole host of big-name acts across several stages.

Friday night's session includes sets from dance group Underworld, kingpins of the Madchester music scene the Happy Mondays, Scottish DJ supremo Mylo and Kosheen.

Radio One will also be broadcasting live from the event, with Pete Tong airing the Essential Selection on Friday.

A wide array of dance royalty will also be taking to the stage on the Saturday, including one of the world's most popular DJs, DJ Tiesto, and luminaries such as Carl Cox and John Digweed each hosting their own arena.

They will be joined on other stages by the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules, Fergie, Erick Morillo, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Lawler, Fabio and Grooverider and a whole host of other acts.

As well as the music, there will be a whole host of other attractions including the Urban Village with skate ramps, break-dancers and graffiti artists.

Audiences can also visit the Chill-Out Village with its massage stands, bean-bags and coffee shops, the Comedy Tent, a 1000-tonne sandy beach complete with deckchairs and palm trees and a fairground with water rides and rollercoasters.

Tickets are available on the 24-hour hotline, with various options available, on 0870 789 1010 and through www.globalgather ing.co.uk
