THE stage version of much-loved film When Harry Met Sally arrives at Malvern's Festival Theatre on Monday as part of a national tour.
Faithfully adapted for the stage by Marcy Kahan, based on the Nora Ephron classic award-winning film, it tells the story of two New Yorkers who take over a decade to decide the answer to the question: Can a man and a woman sleep together and still be friends?
The stage production stars Gaby Roslin and Jonathan Wrather as Sally and Harry in the roles made famous by Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. Gaby Roslin, well known from TV's Children in Need, appeared in the West End production of Chicago and Jonathan Wrather was Coronation Street's bad boy Joe Carter.
The comedy enjoyed a successful and critically acclaimed West End run last year and features a soundtrack from popular jazz artist Jamie Cullum, together with his brother Ben.
A spokesman said: "This wisecracking, tender and poignant romantic comedy is a modern classic. You'll want to have what she's having - it's that good!"
When Harry Met Sally runs from Monday until Saturday, July 16, evenings at 8pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets, priced £14-22, are available from the box office on 01684 892277 or online at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
