ONE of the biggest music events in the country is set to join forces with the county's major celebration of art and talent this week.
The amphitheatre stage at County Hall will host a musical extravaganza on Saturday and Sunday (July 9 and 10).
Worcestershire County Council's Skills on Show event has been chosen to host the BBC's Mad about Music event.
BBC Hereford and Worcester have taken the reins of Mad About Music and is showcasing some of the two county's best local bands.
Mad About Music will be one of a number of events at Skills on Show, which attracts more than 20,000 visitors every year.
James Coghill, from BBC Hereford and Worcester, said: "This year's event promises to be another hugely exciting and spectacular event."
