TWO though provoking productions start at Birmingham's mac over the weekend.
The centre, in Cannon Hill Park, features photograph exhibition Vanishing Point and biting satire Singer.
Vanishing Point, by artist Martin Newth, takes a different view of everyday life, with interesting pictures of usually mundane sights such as motorways and houses.
The exhibition will be in the mac's public space galleries between July 9 and August 29.
Singer, written by Peter Flannery, is the darkly funny tale of Peter Singer - a bitter survivor of the holocaust who enjoys the seedier side of life in 20th century London.
Emotive and energetic, the show sold out in 2004 and is being brought to life by the mac's youth theatre.
Tickets for the show, which is on July 9 and 11 (7.15pm start), cost £6.50.
