THE results of a by-election in Evesham have been announced.
Gerard O’Donnell, Conservative, won the Evesham South seat on Wychavon District Council after he received 358 votes.
Diana Brown, Liberal Democrats, came second with 176 votes while John White, UK Independence Party, received 150 votes.
Three ballots were spoiled during voting on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Charles Homer, Conservative, was elected as a parish councillor for Evesham Town South after picking up 432 votes.
His opposition, John White, UK Independence Party, got 217 votes. A total 25 ballots were spoiled.
