WALKER Arthur My Family and I thank everyone for the many lovely cards and words of comfort we received in our very sad loss. My Neighbours for their kind offers of help and sympathy, and Relatives, Friends and Ex-Colleagues who attended the funeral. Loving tributes from our Grandchildren, niece Jenny and granddaughter Sharon in Australia both sent heartfelt tributes. Our Family Doctor who took such care of him and gave us many more months together. Tracy from St Richard's Hospice who made his day when she gave him a hug and kiss each time she came, and the Pharmacy Team at Boots whose kindness to me kept up my moral. Minister Simon Harry from St Peters Baptist Church for his words of comfort and our son Michael who gave such a moving and sincere tribute, his "Pop" would have been proud of him as we all were. It was a beautiful service. Co-operative Funeral Care for their help, kindness and dignity, also the Manager and Staff at The Perdiswell for the splended buffet and respectful services. All who gave donations for St Richard's Hospice and my loving Family for their love and support which has been a tower of strength to me during Arthur's long illness, without them I couldn't have coped, they all did so much to keep me cheerful. To each and everyone thank you, from Audrey. Don't cry for me he said, be happy, but forgive us dear if we shed one small tear for one we loved and held so dear. Published in paper 13/02/2008
