BARACK Obama will pick up his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo today.
The prize was awarded to the first black US President in October for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples".
But just days ago he announced that the US was sending 30,000 extra troops to Afghanistan to fight a war that has already claimed the lives of many allied troops.
Opinions were divided when he was announced the winner, with many saying that his term in office was still in its infancy and he didn't deserve it. Yet.
Others, however, said he was being rightly-awarded for his intentions - rather than actions.
What do you think? If he were to get the Peace Prize at all, should more time have been given or is the decision just?
