A ROOM full of screaming girls greeted X Factor’s Lloyd Daniels when he visited Worcester.
The 16-year-old heartthrob, who was voted off the ITV show 10 days ago, performed live at Tramps in Angel Place on Monday to a club packed full of fans.
The Welsh youngster was prevented by his management team from being interviewed by your Worcester News because of his age, but still spent time meeting and greeting fans in person.
Talking to the crowd from the stage, a cheerful-looking Lloyd asked if people were having a good time and, after performing three tracks, including Last Request and Crazy Little Thing Called Love, he turned to the DJ and asked if there was time for one more.
An excited Lizzie Hulme, aged 21, said: “We love Lloyd.
“I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like him. I thought he was going to be in the final, but now I think Joe is going to win.”
Daniel Basso, aged 18, was looking forward to meeting the Welsh singer. He said: “He’s so cute. I want to get a picture of us together.”
On hearing he had missed out on making the X Factor semi-finals, Lloyd, whose singing had been likened to karaoke by judge Louis Walsh, said he had “enjoyed every moment”. Since being booted off the show he has visited clubs all over Britain and will now get ready for next year’s X-Factor tour.
Next week, Danyl Johnson, the ninth act to leave the show, will perform at Tramps. The 27-year-old has been described by some national newspapers as this year’s most controversial contestant owing to rumours of a big ego.
