A STYLISH silver Morgan sports car worth about £25,000 could be yours for just £2 at a charity raffle.
The iconic car, produced in Malvern, is the special prize in the St Richard’s Hospice’s silver anniversary raffle, marking 25 years since the charity first started in Worcestershire.
Morgan celebrated its centenary earlier this year. The Morgan 4/4 Sport has been individually designed to reflect the hospice colours, with the interior seats in blue with green piping and the snowdrop logo embroidered on the headrests.
Community fund-raiser Joanna Street said: “This wonderful raffle prize has been made possible through the generous support of Webbs Garden Centres and Worcester Racecourse.”
Tickets will be on sale at all the hospice shops in Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich, Upton-upon-Severn, Broadway, Tewkesbury, Pershore and Evesham and the hospice at Wildwood Drive, Worcester. The draw for the raffle takes place on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
