POLICE are searching for a man wearing a hoody who assaulted a woman in Droitwich.
The woman was walking along Park Way, next to King George’s playing fields, when she was assaulted by a man walking in the same direction.
She ran off towards Meadow Road and called the police.
Officers want any dog walkers or residents who may have seen the assault at around 10pm on Friday, December 4 to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Natalie Jones said: “This incident obviously left this lady very distressed.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have been walking home from a night out or walking their dogs on the playing fields who may have seen a man matching the detailed description of the offender.”
The man, in his 20s, was white, around 6 feet tall and of a medium build.
He was clean shaven with boyish looks, had a long pointy nose and was wearing a grey hoody over his head and, possibly, a darker hoody as well.
Anyone with information should call police on 0300 333 3000, quoting 812/S/041209, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
