WARNDON Villages Sharks Under 12s and Kidderminster Lions contested their Stourport Youth League 100 per cent records.
Sharks ran out 3-0 winners after taking the lead just before half-time when James Ridge glanced home a Matt Sowden free-kick.
Lions upped the tempo in the second period but could not break down the Worcester side’s miserly defence.
The killer goal arrived when a swift move found James Wood who out-paced two defenders from the half-way line and beat the keeper.
Sowden completed the scoring with three minutes left following a move involving Dan Jenkins and Kieran Burns.
UNDER 10s: Nunnery Wood Sharks progressed in the league cup with a 6-0 win over Cookley Sports.
Owen Lane bagged their first goal from a fine Madelaine Pitt through-ball inside the first two minutes.
Sharks dominated the first period with four more goals from Kyle Taylor, Matt Ellis (2) and Lane.
Pitt set up three of the goals, while Sam Danvers and player-of-the-match Adam Banner pushed up well from defence.
Following substitutions, the second-half was more of a struggle with keeper Barney Williams called into action.
Recent signing Taylor dispatched his second goal late on from Pitt’s pass.
UNDER NINES: Warndon Villages Rhinos earned a 2-0 win at Kidderminster Athletic Hornets to push them up to seventh in the table.
Will Barnes grabbed the first goal with a tap-in from inside the penalty area.
But it could have been more as Harvey Groves, Charlie Roberts, Harry Ewins and Barnes all forced fine saves from the Hornets keeper.
Player-of-the-match Roberts secured victory with a superb solo goal from the half-way line.
